The Challenge Cup

For the bulk of the year, play within the CVH is sporting and about a 1 on the spice scale. Twice a year however, we dial the spice up to 11 and play for the Challenge Cup – these games are for keeps.  The Christmas Cup and The Season Ender Cup.  Two captains are select and teams are drafted from the pool of 80ish regular players. During the Cup Week, all four skates are in play. Players play on their respective days for the team they have been drafted to. Goals are accumulated across all 4 skates and the team with the most goals at the end of the week claims the Cup.

Generally viewed as a childish amplification of an already great group, we are closing in on our 4th iteration. The Season Ender is set for the week of April 20th, 2026.
